April 18, 1933 – January 14, 2022 - 88 years old
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isobel (Betty) Harrison at the age of 88 years.
Predeceased by her husband Arthur MacWhirter and son John.

She leaves behind her beloved children: James, Jean (Terry), Shirley (Ted), Isabel (Morris), Philip (Sylvie), Thomas (Elaine), Dorothy (Russell), Patricia, Sandra (Gary), Wendy (Kevin), Jennifer (Jamie);
her 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sister Joan and brothers Jack, Arthur and Brian;
many nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends.

Donations can be made in memory of Isobel (Betty) Harrison to the Alzheimer Foundation.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday, July 1st, and Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, at the St. Andrew's United Church at 2 pm in New Richmond. Interment will take place at Black Cape Cemetery.

Professional services have been entrusted to the Salon Funéraire Henri Thibodeau inc, a subsidiary of the HG Division network certified Distinction by the Corporation des thanatologues du Quebec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Quebec.

The management and staff of HG Division offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.

Your mother was a mom to a lot of people. It seemed the more people she had in her home, the happier she was. I spent a lot of time at their home growing up and I will forever remember her kindness, her goodness and her respect for others.
May you rest now Mrs MacWhirter. You’ve certainly earned it.
