Marina Ella Benwell
1942-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marina Benwell, the eldest child of Peter Benwell and Iva Dow.
Marina passed away in her sleep during the early morning hours of June 8th, at her childhood home with her brother Richard not far from her side.
Marina was known for her feisty actions, her embroidering making many beautiful pillow cases that she gave away to family and special friends. She loved to clean and help her sister Erlene.
She was predeceased by her father Peter Benwell (2002), and her mother Iva Dow (2018), one sister Marilyn and her great-niece Rebekah Benwell.
She is survived by her brother and care-giver Richard, her sister-in-law Beulah, her sister and constant companion Erlene, nephew Chris and niece Rachel who were both very special to her. She also leaves to mourn her passing her special cousins Lyla, Cally, Alvena, Shirley and Celia Smith.
Donations can be made in memory of Marina Ella Benwell to the Saint Paul's Anglican Church in Shigawake.
A graveside Service will be held at the Saint Pauls Anglican Church in Shigawake on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10 A.M.
Professional services have been entrusted to the Salon Funéraire Rejean Bélanger de Paspebiac, a subsidiary of the HG Division network, certified Distinction by the Corporation of thanatoligists of Quebec and by the Bureau de normalisation du Quebec.
The management and staff of HG Division offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.
