It is with great sadness that we annouce the passing of our beloved mother Andrée Skene, at the age of 85 years old on September 24, 2021 at Maria Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Eric McWhirter, sons Athur and Robert, parents Arthur Skene and Claudia Grenier, Sister Jane and Brother Léon and John.
She leaves behind her beloved children: Winston (Joyce), Linda (Gabriel), David (Linda), Eva (Wayne), Jack (Mélissa), Nancy (Jean-Luc);
her grandchildren: Rachel, Adam (Tera), Amy (Robert), Eric (Stéphanie), Nicholas (Karianne), Jessie, Alex (Sara);
her great-grandchildren: Lindsey, Jenna and Dominic;
her brothers: Clifton, Joseph (Gaby) and Winston (Mildred);
sister -in-law Eva Gignac;
brother-in-law Gordon (Anne).
Visitations will be held at St. Andrew's United Church Hope Town on Tuesday, October 19th, at 1 p.m.
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m.
Thank you to Dr. Jean-Louis Lévesque for home visits, Dr. Prévost and Dr. Vachon and the nurses at the CHBC Maria for the excellent care received.
Donations can be made in memory of Andrée Skene to the St. Andrew's United Church Cemetery Fund Hope Town.

La famille recevra vos condoléances à l'Église St. Andrew's United Church de Hope Town le mardi 19 octobre 2021 de 13h à 14h.
Les funérailles seront célébrées le même jour à 14h.
Un merci particulier au Dr. Jean-Louis Lévesque pour les visites à domicile, Dr. Prévost et Dr. Vachon ainsi que les infirmières de l'hôpital de Maria pour les bons soins apportés.
